About the Role
As the Business Development & Operational Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in expanding HPP’s client base while supporting day-to-day workforce coordination.
This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys both client-facing business growth activities and the practical aspects of mobilising and supporting workers across multiple programs.
Core Capabilities
Business Development (80%)
Identify new business opportunities within aged care, childcare, and healthcare sectors.
Conduct market research, support tender submissions, and assist in client presentations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, training partners, and government stakeholders.
Manage new lead follow-ups through the CRM system and support marketing and promotional activities.
Operational Support (20%)
Coordinate housing and accommodation for PALM and PEV program participants.
Support workforce mobilisations, arrivals, inductions, and onboarding.
Conduct candidate interviews, assist with shortlisting, and ensure compliance documentation accuracy.
Liaise with facility clients on placements, welfare, and performance.
Provide administrative and logistical support for payroll, rostering, and contract processes.
Conduct fortnightly face-to-face welfare check-ins with candidates.
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal systems and communication processes.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, sales support, or account management.
Experience in healthcare, aged care, or labour-hire sectors (preferred).
Understanding of PALM, PEV, or similar workforce programs.
Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills.
Empathetic, culturally aware, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Tertiary qualification in Business (preferred) and a valid driver’s licence.
