Lucy Liu is a busy pan-Asian restaurant in the Melbourne CBD. We are currently recruiting commis chefs and chef de partie to join our team. Lucy Liu is a vibrant and exciting venue that offers long term employment possibilities and a wonderful working environment.
About the role
Candidate must be experienced in cooking a variety of Asian Cuisine, self motivated & hard working & passionate about food -
Work in conjunction with the sous and head chefs to assist the operation of our kitchen at Lucy Liu.
Give support to CDP in mentoring and developing junior staff members.
Be an example of excellence in the kitchen for those around to follow.
Engage in a positive and collaborative manner with the FOH teams to ensure outstanding food experiences for our customers.
Have a desire to improve your position within the company
Experience with sashimi is preferred

Skills and experience
The successful candidate must be a professional, self-motivated individual, have a strong attention to detail, be process driven and possess strong technical skills and a passion for cooking.
You would have a strong understanding of cooking and service requirements of being a professional chef. You will also possess a relevant industry qualification and have 1 or more years cooking experience.
