The Opportunity

The Housing Industry Association is looking to fill the position of Learning and Pathways Adviser in the HIA Training space, this role is a full time permanent opportunity located in any of our Australian offices.

The Role

The Learning and Pathways Adviser manages all training enquiries and supports the prospective students through the enrolment process. They are responsible for driving sales growth for HIA Training to ensure that sales targets are achieved and exceeded in accordance with budget and business growth. They do this by having a comprehensive knowledge of the regional licensing requirements and funding contacts accessed by HIA to outline an accurate cost effective solution for our students. Outbound lead generation may be required.

Key duties of this role are:

Follow up and conversion of incoming leads generated by marketing campaigns and BDR activity nationally in line with the Customer Service Charter

Follow up leads for completion of enrolment documentation in line with the Customer Service Charter

Ensure customer service standards are being achieved and exceeded

Learn and understand builders licensing/registration regulations and pass that knowledge onto perspective students

Pro-actively drive a culture of sales and service for the Training team

Manage and communicate effectively with training team, Membership team and regional management to ensure service levels are maintained and KPI’s are being met

Accurate record keeping regarding lead generation and account management utilising HIA systems

Proficient use of CRM

The Successful Person will have

Outgoing and confident personality

Comfortable speaking and engaging with a range of clients on the phone, in person and via email

Highly motivated and results-driven

Experience in a customer service environment and determining customer needs

Ability to develop relationships with clients and colleagues

Well-developed organisational and time management skills

Good computer skills

Ability to build rapport over the phone quickly

Agility to adapt to updated information impacting customer needs and tailor conversations accordingly

Desirable

Sales experience delivering targeted results

A knowledge of the VET sector and/or building industry
