Under the City of Kwinana’s structured remuneration system, this position is classified as a PACS Band 5 (range $78,485 - $85,493) p.a – dependent on qualifications and experience).

Join the City of Kwinana’s Human Resources Team and play a key role in delivering exceptional HR support and recruitment services across our vibrant local government organisation.

As our new Human Resources Officer, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values initiative, professionalism and fun in the workplace. You’ll coordinate end-to-end recruitment, provide advice and support on HR matters, and help create positive experiences for our employees and candidates alike. This is a fixed-term contract of 12 months providing Parental Leave cover.

What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Considerable experience working in a similar environment.

Knowledge of contemporary human resources issues including award interpretation.

Well-developed communication skills with an ability to deliver high quality customer service.

Well-developed computer literacy skills with knowledge of Big Red Sky (BRS), or similar, recruitment system.

Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to work as part of a dynamic team.

Highly developed organisational and time management skills.

Qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent.

Previous experience and knowledge in conducting interview processes desirable.
