Kippa-Ring OSHC is looking for a qualified educator to join our team in a casual role.

Right in the heart of Kippa Ring, our OSHC is part of the Southern Cross Catholic College community, where we’ve created a fun, safe, and welcoming space for kids to learn, play, and grow.

We can care for up to 75 children before, after school and vacation care. Our team is dedicated about creating an exciting and supportive environment where kids can be themselves and enjoy their time at OSHC.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to train as a Responsible Person (RP).

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…

• Provide nurturing care and genuine support for children in your care
• Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
• Design and lead fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities
• Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with your team
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
• Join exciting excursions and special events during vacation care

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
• Experience in the education and care of children
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Government
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
