Program Coordinator - Sponsorships

About the role

The Program Coordinator – Sponsorships supports the business development, relationship management, and delivery of member value events and programs. This role is pivotal in supporting the growth of CEC events by driving revenue opportunities, business development opportunities and effective engagement with members and external stakeholders.

The position main purpose is to oversee and coordinate event partnerships for CEC events, ensuring streamlined processes for sponsors and exhibitors and delivering a return on investment for all.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 76 hours per fortnight (1 FTE). Please note, there may be a requirement for occasional interstate travel and to work outside of normal working hours.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business management or a related discipline with at least five (5) years’ experience in business development, sales, partnership or relationship management.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), project management platforms and communication channels (e.g., MS Office, Monday.com).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders of differing levels.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in capturing, analysing, and reporting key data and information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach.
