Who We’re Looking For
We’re entering an exciting new chapter at AEIOU, with a refreshed strategic direction and expanding services. We’re seeking Occupational Therapists to"
- cover a parental leave position in Toowoomba, with potential for ongoing work as we grow. Will consider full-time or part-time.
- help grow our clinical team currently based as Nathan, as we prepare to move to a brand-new purpose-built centre at Camira by mid-2026. This role is part-time but will discuss opportunities for full-time

At AEIOU, we meet children where they are, offering a range of services to support their unique journey:
- Early Intervention Program
Our group-based early intervention program is the heart of AEIOU. Here, children learn key skills for communication, play, and daily life in a supportive and structured setting. By working together in groups, children build language, confidence, and friendships. - School Support (SDSS Program)
Through the Specialist Disability Support in Schools (SDSS) Program, funded by the Queensland Government, our therapists partner with schools to deliver in-class therapy, teacher coaching, and practical strategies that help students thrive. - Therapy Services
Individualised sessions funded privately or through the NDIS, focused on each child’s specific goals—from speech development to social connection.
What You’ll Need to Join Us
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor/Masters in Occupational Therapy + AHPRA registration
- Passion for working with children
- Experience with ASD (preferred but not essential
- Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

AEIOU Foundation is an established early intervention service that supports children in a naturalistic, play-based and neurodiversity affirming environment.
AEIOU is family-focused, so that in addition to supporting children to achieve their individual goals, families receive training and support through online education and parent engagement sessions.
At AEIOU, a dedicated team of education and therapy professionals work together to support each child and family. This team is comprised of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, behaviour support practitioners, early childhood teachers and educators.
