Based at our Ivanhoe clinic, these roles blend clinic and community/home visits (Melbourne’s North and East suburbs) within clinical leadership. You’ll support children and families through NDIS and private caseloads, alongside a passionate, collaborative multidisciplinary team.
2 Roles:
Occupational Therapist (minimum 1 year experience)
Senior Occupational Therapist- Clinical lead
Flexible options: Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days)

KidsPT is an NDIS registered paediatric allied health team providing Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Pathology to children, parents/carers and support services such as schools, kindergartens and the wider community.

Individual clinic-based therapy at our new, purpose built Ivanhoe Clinic.
Individual community-based therapy (metro Melbourne) including visits to home, school, kindergarten, and local facilities.
Therapy-led groups within our Ivanhoe Clinic and local community facilities.
Education, training and consultancy to service providers and parents including childcare centers, kindergartens, and schools.
Developmental Assessments (Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Speech, Language and Communication, Sensory Processing, and more).

About the role
Reporting to a clinical Team Leader or the Director, and part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver person and family-centred services to children and young people with developmental delay, neurodevelopmental conditions or other areas of concern. You’ll assess, plan, and implement therapy programs that make a meaningful difference every day.
The Senior, Clinical Lead role will lead a team of Occupational Therapists, providing formal and informal supervision, support induction, professional development and contribute to team culture and development
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Deliver family-centred therapy within an integrated, multidisciplinary team.
Assess developmental, gross motor and functional skills to identify strengths and challenges.
Develop and implement individualised therapy plans and interventions.
Assist with developing and rolling out group programs that promote connection, skill development, play, communication, positive self concept and participation.
Assist with developing and rolling out presentations to community facilities such as childcare centres, kindergartens and schools.
Prescribe and support the use of equipment and additional resources and supports.
Collaborate with families and other caregivers, service providers and professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Deliver therapy in clinic, home, and community settings.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, client progress, goals and outcomes.
Contribute to a high performing team and culture through informal discussions, supervision, team meetings, case conferences and professional development activities.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary leadership team to develop and support business operations and opportunities for growth.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a strong commitment and belief in supporting young people to be the best they can be . You will be passionate about supporting families and fostering inclusivity. Your excellent communication skills and passion for what we do will make you a valuable addition to the team.

Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
Current Working with Children Check, Medicare Provider Number, NDIS Worker & Police Check.
Current driver’s licence and access to your own car.
