About the Role

You’ll work with an impressive mix of small to medium-sized businesses, typically ranging from $2 million to $50 million in turnover and spanning a wide variety of industries.

The firm operates in a cloud-based environment using Xero, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient workflows. You’ll be involved in preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns, overseeing compliance work, and delivering practical, value-driven accounting and business solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs.

Overseeing BAS, FBT, CGT, and other compliance work.

Reviewing and supporting the work of junior accountants, providing guidance and feedback.

Participating in client tax planning meetings and resolving technical queries.

Collaborating with internal specialists across advisory, corporate finance, and wealth management divisions.

About You

3+ years’ experience in Australian public practice.

CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing).

Strong technical knowledge of CGT, FBT, and Division 7A.

Excellent communicator with confidence in client-facing settings.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated to grow within a supportive team.
