As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an energetic and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver the food and experience our customers know and love.

You’ll be part of a busy, vibrant kitchen where passion, teamwork, and pride in your craft matter. From house-made pastas and sauces to seasonal salads, roasts and deli specials, you’ll play a key role in keeping the flavour and quality that define Pasta Deli.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Preparing and cooking menu items to order and in bulk

Maintaining food quality, consistency, and portion control

Assisting with stock rotation, prep, and overall kitchen organisation

Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

Supporting the team with day-to-day operations

We’re Looking For:

Previous cooking or chef experience in a fast-paced café, restaurant, or deli

Experience in a commercial kitchen or food manufacturing environment

Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and a sharp eye for quality and consistency

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately

Excellent time management and calm efficiency under pressure

A strong background or passion for Italian cuisine and traditional techniques

Great teamwork and communication skills

A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn

Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including Saturdays

A genuine love for fresh food and Italian flavours
