Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Services Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients, oversee accounting and compliance work, and contribute to advisory services. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and managers, providing exposure to a wide variety of clients and industries.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and budgets for clients.
• Oversee compliance obligations including income tax, GST, payroll tax, and Self-Managed Super Fund.
• Assist with business advisory projects, including cash flow management, business planning, and process improvement.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring high-quality outputs and professional development.
• Liaise directly with clients to provide technical advice and build strong, lasting relationships.
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients’ businesses through advisory and consulting services.
• Support partners and managers with client engagements and firm initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting standards, tax legislation, and industry developments.

Key Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualified.
• 2–5 years’ experience in a business services role within an accounting firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting, taxation, and business advisory.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a small-firm environment.
