Care Services Worker – Home Care – The Verge Retirement Village, Burleigh

We are seeking an accomplished and motivated Care Services Worker to join our Home Care team at The Verge Retirement Village in Burleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, providing support and comfort to our residents.

Casual Position working mainly across Monday to Friday, weekend work may be required at times

Reporting to the Manager Care Qld, you will be responsible for:

• Assist Home Care recipients with daily living activities, including mobility, continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, and medication prompting
• Assist with meal preparation as needed
• Provide domestic and laundry services to care recipients
• Transport care recipients to appointments (e.g., medical)
• Offer social support and shopping assistance

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable Transport
• National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
