About the role

Join the dedicated team at ADRIA CARE as a part-time Registered Nurse. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to the residents in our aged care facility located in Stirling, ACT. Your focus will be on ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents through compassionate and professional nursing practice.

What you'll be doing

Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for residents

Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners

Monitoring residents' health conditions and responding to changes appropriately

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to develop and update residents' care plans

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' care

Providing emotional support and comfort to residents and their families

Adhering to all relevant health, safety and clinical policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Current NDIS, WWVC, First Aid and CPR certification must be maintained in addition to AHPRA registration

Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing or an equivalent setting

Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
