Access Solutions Tasmania, a leading local provider of innovative lift and escalator solutions, invites applications for the position of Senior Lift Service Technician. This role is essential in maintaining the safety and efficiency of vertical transportation systems across Tasmania. We seek a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality service in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on lifts and escalators, ensuring compliance with AS1735 standards.

Respond to service calls, diagnosing and repairing faults to minimise operational disruptions in residential, commercial, and public settings.

Execute repairs, minor system upgrades, modifications, and mentoring of junior staff while maintaining comprehensive records.

Undertake fieldwork across regions including Hobart and Launceston, with availability for occasional after-hours support.

Essential Qualifications

At least five years' experience in lift and escalator servicing, repairs, and diagnostics, with familiarity in brands such as Orona, Otis, or KONE.

Electrician special class, Certificate III/IV in Lift Mechanics or equivalent qualification, with in-depth knowledge of AS1735.

Valid driver's licence, physical capability for work at heights and in confined spaces, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Desirable: Can assess lift condition and propose relevant repair solutions

Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
