At St Joseph’s School Hectorville, we provide a welcoming and well-maintained environment for our community and seek a dedicated and proactive Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team. In this key role, you will ensure our grounds and facilities are safe, attractive, and presented to the highest standard to create a space our students and families can be proud of.

The permanent employee hours offered are:

Monday and Tuesday

7:00am – 3:00pm

15 hours per week and 48 weeks per year

salary calculates to $35 - $37 per hour + leave entitlements

Some additional hours may be offered from time to time, depending on need and availability.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in performing a range of routine tasks as outlined in the grounds and maintenance schedule, as directed, and in a timely and competent manner.

Maintain gardens, sports grounds and/or facilities which includes used of accredited trade skills in areas such as horticulture, gardening, or the maintenance of sports grounds.

About You

Certificate III in Horticulture or Gardening or experience

Knowledge of different irrigation methods and application considered an advantage.

Exceptional time management and organisational skills, and effective interpersonal skills.
