About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our dental sales team with future opportunities for development based on performance. Base Salary plus commission apply.
The role involves driving sales of Dental Small Equipment, consumable parts, ancillary components while supporting the project management of larger capital sales. Mentoring in understanding the strong link between Service and Sales in operations will also be provided.
In addition to internal sales responsibilities, the successful candidate may be required to conduct in person site visits to dental clinics either independently or alongside another MDS representative which may require travel within and occasionally beyond the local region.
Their goal is to comprehensively understand how service and in particular the customer experience can build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver outstanding customer service from inquiry to delivery, supported by our experienced sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
o Manage inbound and outbound sales activities with dental clinics to drive business growth and customer retention.
o Promote and sell a range of products including small dental equipment, consumables, ancillary items, and capital equipment.
o Support clinics with equipment upgrades, replacements, and expansion needs.
o Proactively follow up on leads, quotes, and customer enquiries to maximise conversion opportunities.
o Identify potential customers through research or inbound inquiries.
Capital Equipment & Projects
o Assist in the project management of capital equipment sales, coordinating timelines and requirements with customers and internal teams.
o Support external sales in preparing proposals, closing larger deals and occasionally attending site visits.o Develop understanding of end-to-end sales processes as a foundation for potential progression to a full sales roll.
CRM & Administration
o Utilise the company CRM to document customer interactions, manage sales pipelines and track quotes.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, forecasts and activity reports.
o Ensure timely follow-up and documentation of all customer engagements and sales activities.
General Support
o Provide technical product information, pricing, and availability details to customers.
o Coordinate with service, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
o Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer service standards.

Qualifications & Experience
· Previous experience in sales preferred - ideally in dental, medical, or healthcare equipment.
· Familiarity with dental equipment, consumables, and service workflows (advantageous but not essential).
· Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong organisational and administrative skills.
