Electrical Fire Technician

Guardian Safety Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Electrical Fire Technician to join our team in South Australia and Nothern Territory. As an Electrical Fire Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems across a variety of commercial and industrial sites. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading provider of fire safety solutions and contribute to the wellbeing of our local community.

What you'll be doing

Perform routine maintenance, testing and repairs on a range of fire protection equipment, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers

Fire Detection installation work

Respond to emergency callouts and troubleshoot faults to quickly restore fire safety systems

Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work carried out

Liaise with clients to provide updates and recommendations on fire safety compliance

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant Australian Standards and regulations

What we're looking for

Qualified electrician with a current Australian Electrician's Licence

Fire protection industry experience, with a strong understanding of fire safety systems and regulations

Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills

Strong time management and organisational abilities

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

A positive, safety-focused attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
