Talenza have been engaged by an Australian utilities organisation headquatered in Brisbane, to find an IT Environments Manager to support an Azure uplift program of work. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in infrastructure and automation, alongside strong stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate with Solutions Delivery Program, Project and Test Managers, as well as other key roles in the Service Delivery team.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane CBD office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

Defined and implemented environment management strategies to support delivery portfolios, programs, and projects.

Designed and maintained integrated UAT environments linked with non-production Active Directory domains for secure, role-based access.

Oversaw provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of SIT, UAT, and Performance test environments to ensure production alignment.

Implemented automated provisioning workflows incorporating AD group-based access controls for testers and developers.

Acted as the key liaison for environment matters, collaborating with project managers, test managers, and infrastructure teams.

Established governance frameworks for environment usage, access control, data handling, and audit compliance.

Identified and delivered environment optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline provisioning timelines.
