Pay Rate: $35.15 p/h + Super
Location: Kingswood
Hours of work: 7 hrs p/d / 35 hrs p/w

DESCRIPTION:
Scanning Officers required to provide specialised value-added services such as digitisation (scanning) services, data collection and document control for our clients, producing archival and/or records access digital copies.
The role will require the ability to prepare and digitise physical files utilizing a range of specialized scanning devices such as high-speed roller scanners, book scanners, and large flatbed scanners. The role is technology-based requiring a foundational level of computer literacy.
The role will also require the ability to pick required files and/or boxes from storage from time to time and the candidates must be able to operate at heights and utilise equipment such as pallet jacks, etc.
To produce digital copies of items for working, legal and/or preservation purposes in many differing formats.
Duties also include prep work and re-collation of paper file based items.
This is a high volume, fast paced unit
Provide service and assist in all areas of operation by providing appropriate resources and services.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven up to date data entry skills (both alpha & numeric) and excellent accuracy
Ability to walk long distances to retrieve/check files from various locations across the sites.
Previous experience in the operation of assorted scanning equipment and document control is desirable.
Good knowledge of MS Office ( mostly Access, Excel & Outlook, Intermediate Excel Knowledge) and ability to learn custom data capture/inventory systems.
High attention to detail.
Ability to lift boxes up to 10kgs, push trolleys and work with dusty records.
Preparedness to participate in rosters.
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy agreements
Working with Children Check and Police check
