Who we are:
At PICHA Group, we specialise in elevating national brands through innovative signage, activations, and retail solutions. From design and fabrication to installation, we create bold, high-quality work for some of Australia’s biggest brands.
About the role:
We’re seeking a versatile and highly organised Graphic Designer with proven experience in the signage industry to join our studio. In this role, you’ll produce visually engaging and technically precise artwork ready for production. This full-time role works across our three departments, Signage, Activations and Exhibitions, and Retail Solutions, bringing brands to life through innovative visual solutions.
About you:
You’re an experienced, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. You enjoy variety, work well with multiple teams, and take pride in seeing your designs come to life. This position requires strong organisational skills, the ability to self-schedule across multiple projects, and a practical understanding of signage production. You’ll manage your own workflow across departments, balancing creative design, pre-press preparation, and production coordination.
Responsibilities
Create and prepare artwork using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).
Develop signage designs in line with client briefs and brand guidelines.
Prepare artwork and production files (large-format printing, CNC routing, etc.)
Complete artwork proofing and take-offs to ensure accuracy, colour consistency, and quality control prior to production.
Manage your own time and project scheduling across all three departments (using tools such as Float or similar).
Collaborate closely with Production and Project Managers to meet deadlines.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align on project outcomes.
Support production and installation where required to ensure design feasibility.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a signage or print production environment (essential).
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Strong understanding of production processes, materials, and file setup.
Excellent time management and self-scheduling abilities.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Positive, collaborative attitude with great communication skills.
Why you’ll love working here:
Quarterly RDO and staff wellbeing days
A hands-on, collaborative work environment
Supportive, creative, and fun team culture
How to apply:
If you’re a motivated designer who loves creating visual impact and being involved in projects from concept to completion, we’d love to hear from you.
Submit your resume, cover letter, and portfolio telling us about your experience and why you’re excited to work at PICHA Group.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Salary is commensurate with experience
