Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing operating theatres and surgical instruments
• Provide skilled support during surgical procedures
• Work closely with surgeons and anaesthetists to ensure safe, efficient operations
• Support patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative journey
• Accurately document procedures and follow safety protocols

About You:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Recent clinical experience in Scrub/Scout nursing, you have scrubbed in a range of specialties.
• Beneficial if you have orthopaedic and neuro experience.
• Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and teamwork skills
• Enthusiastic and professional approach to nursing care
• Passionate about contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team

MAYDAY Healthcare Nurse Contract Incentive

Valid for contracts completed between now and 31 March 2026
We’re rewarding our amazing nurses for their commitment to completing full-time contracts. For each contract, you’ll receive a one-off reward based on the total number of weeks worked.

Bonus Structure (Per Contract):

4 weeks → $200 bonus
6 weeks → $300 bonus
8 weeks → $450 bonus
