Whoever You Are : Disability Support Worker

Location: Southern Gold Coast to Pottsville

Schedule: Weekends, Weekdays, inactive Sleepover's when required

About the Role

Whoever You Are (WEYA) is seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team and redefine care standards. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and essential skills to individuals with disabilities. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure that each participant receives the highest quality of care. We currently have 15-20 hours available throughout the week, with weekend work available and sleepovers if required.

Weekday rates will vary from $33.96-$43.23 an hour, depending on experience

Weekend and overnight rates included

Shifts will be around the Tweed Coast, from Terranora, through to Pottsville

15-20 hours + sleepovers across the week and weekends available, with more to become available

Key Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and personalised care to individuals with disabilities

Assist with activities of daily living and accessing the community

Support participants in developing independent living skills

Facilitate community access and participation

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Requirements

Experience or qualifications in disability support is preferred but not essential

A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong teamwork skills

A willingness to continuously learn and grow

Current First Aid and CPR certification

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current driver's license and reliable car with insurance
