The opportunity

Perkins Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Emu Plains, NSW. As a full-time member of our skilled automotive trades workforce, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a range of Light & Heavy vehicles to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on a variety of light & heavy vehicles

Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks such as servicing & mechanical repairs

Test and inspect vehicle systems and components to identify issues

Maintain detailed records of all work performed

Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with management & other staff

Adhere to all relevant safety standards and workshop procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field

Willing to work on Light & heavy vehicles (heavy vehicle conversion training provided)

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current driver's licence and your own tools
