About Write With Confidence
Founded in 2020 by a qualified primary school teacher, Write With Confidence is a specialised tutoring service dedicated to helping primary school students (Foundation–Year 7) achieve A+ grades in Literacy and Numeracy. While we specialise in 1:1 literacy and phonics, we offer maths to support a holistic approach to primary education. Our mission is to ensure every student builds foundational skills and confidence so they never fall behind in their school learning. We provide the structured curriculum; you provide the excellent teaching and personal touch of in-home tuition.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, hybrid role where you will travel to students' homes to deliver high-impact, one-on-one sessions. You will be a crucial mentor, providing targeted support that helps children master reading, writing, comprehension, and mathematical concepts, all while aligning with the Victorian Curriculum F–7.
What You'll Do:
Deliver Tailored In-Person Tutoring: Conduct engaging, one-on-one sessions in students' homes, focused on Literacy (reading, writing, comprehension, spelling, and grammar) and Numeracy (core mathematical concepts and problem-solving).
Align with Victorian Curriculum: Help design lessons and activities that directly support and reinforce the core content and achievement standards of the Victorian Primary Curriculum F–7 for both Literacy and Numeracy.
Monitor Progress: Use our system (ClickUp, Google Drive) to track student progress, write detailed weekly session reports, and provide constructive feedback to parents and management.
Participate in 1:1 and Team Meetings: This participation is essential for your training and will help you get the hang of the job during your probationary period.
Build Confidence: Employ patient and encouraging teaching methods to foster a positive attitude towards learning, helping students achieve their A+ potential.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking individuals with excellent knowledge of the Victorian primary education system and the following mandatory resources:
