Chef Position – The Bremer Bay Resort Restaurant

Bremer Bay, Western Australia

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef to join our culinary team at The Bremer Bay Resort. We are located 5 1/2 hours south-east of Perth on the Southern Coast of Western Australia. Our restaurant caters to both local patrons and tourists, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

Key Duties:

§ Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard.

§ Managing kitchen inventory and ensuring efficient stock levels.

§ Adhering strictly to portion control guidelines.

§ Ordering, receiving and managing food supplies.

§ Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards of the kitchen area.

§ Assisting in menu planning and preparation of special dishes for events and tours.

§ Training junior kitchen staff.

§ Communicating effectively with front of kitchen staff, restaurant manager and office staff.

§ Reporting directly to the Head Chef and Management team.

Essential Requirements:

§ Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Cert 3 or above).

§ Minimum two years’ full-time experience in a similar role.

§ Excellent organisational and time management skills.

§ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

§ Commitment to professional standards and work ethics.

Employment Conditions:

§ Position: Full-time – 38 hours per week with two days off.

§ Salary from $76,515.00 per annum.
