POSITION PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to provide technical, operational and communication support to the Procurement function for the Australia and New Zealand affiliates. The internal and external environment in which our client operates is becoming more complex and continually changing. It is important for Procurement to anticipate, develop and continually evolve how the function operates and supports other functions in the business to meet the current and future company’s objectives and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead specific spend categories and savings projects particularly in services
Support the implementation of global and regional procurement projects and sourcing strategies at a local level.
Liaise with local and regional stakeholders to ensure procurement projects and sourcing strategies are implemented within specified timelines.
Provide support and guidance for procurement systems, tools, processes and policies compliance to local stakeholders.
Prepare monthly reports, including spend reports & savings reports.
Help improve contract management and third-party engagement processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of procurement, sourcing or project management experience.
Demonstrated experience and ability with: internal systems, data analysis, report preparation, Microsoft Office Suite - experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and collaboration sites.
