The Venue
Nestled on the picturesque Brisbane River at Portside Wharf, Byblós Brisbane offers an exquisite blend of Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine, luxurious surroundings, and a world-class drink selection.

We are looking for experienced Food & Beverage all-rounder staff to join our team across bar and restaurant operations.

About the Role
As word spreads about our newly re-imagined venue, we are seeking talented team members who are confident, dynamic and able to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll be working in a vibrant riverside environment, helping create memorable moments for our guests across bar service, cocktail preparation, customer orders and dining interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests on arrival and provide outstanding service throughout their visit.

Present drink and food menus, make tailored recommendations, with a strong focus on cocktail and bar service.

Take accurate food and drink orders, serve promptly, and handle transactions smoothly via POS systems.

Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages, maintain high standards of bar service.

Operate across both the bar area and the restaurant: from bar-service shifts to taking food orders and delivering to tables.

Set up and maintain dining and bar areas: prepare tables, maintain cleanliness, ensure ambience and readiness.

Communicate order details to the kitchen and service teams to ensure dishes and drinks are served correctly and promptly.

Uphold health, safety and hygiene standards, including food & beverage regulations and RSA compliance.

What We’re Looking For

Current RSA certification

Minimum of 2 year’s experience in a bar and restaurant environment — preferably with a strong focus on bar and cocktail service.

Proven experience as a Bar Attendant /Section waiter with a polished guest-service approach.

Hands-on experience with POS systems, excellent organisational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive team-focused attitude, and the ability to adapt and perform across multiple service areas (bar and bistro).

Genuine interest in delivering a premium guest experience, including recommending cocktails and enhancing drinks service while supporting bistro dining operations.
