Our client is looking for experienced caseworkers to provide high-quality trauma-informed casework services that help children achieve safe, stable and culturally strong placements when they are unable to live at home with their birth family. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with program frameworks, and fostering strong connections with carers and birth families to ensure best possible outcomes for children and young people.

This role will involve;
- Develop and implement case plans for children within a trauma - informed model
- Engage with children, carers and birth families to identify needs and implement supports
- Identify opportunities for permanency or long-term care arrangements and support the transition of children into and out of care
- Work alongside an experienced team of case managers and share your expertise to enhance outcomes for children and families
- Maintain a caseload of 10-12 children and young people, achieving monthly home visits and regular family time visits to support healthy and strong relationships with birth families where necessary.
They are looking for candidates with casework experience in Out of Home Care programs.
The requirements for this role include;
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Nursing, Teaching, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years case management experience in Out of Home Care with demonstrated understanding of therapeutic practice.
- Ability to produce strong written content with exception verbal communication skills
- Full NSW driver’s License and current NSW WWCC
