Business Development Manager – Security Systems
Location: Sydney CBD, NSW
The Opportunity
Salexo Consulting is partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in the electronic security sector. Our client is known for delivering smart, integrated solutions to a range of industries across commercial, government, infrastructure and enterprise environments.
We're seeking an experienced business development professional who understands the security space and can confidently grow new opportunities while managing and expanding existing accounts. $90,000 - $120,000
Your Role
Develop and manage relationships with integrators, consultants and end users across key sectors
Drive conversations around advanced security solutions including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, VMS, and video analytics
Identify and qualify new project opportunities and manage the full sales cycle through to close
Collaborate closely with internal technical and operational teams to ensure proposed solutions are both practical and scalable
Stay ahead of market developments in areas such as cloud-based systems, AI analytics and site surveillance technologies
Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and on-site meetings across NSW
What You Bring
You’ve spent time in the security systems world and already built trusted relationships with key industry players — whether integrators, consultants, or commercial end users. You understand the value of long-term accounts and know how to open doors with the right people.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
A strong existing network across the security integration, property, or infrastructure sectors
Experience engaging with clients such as security integrators, builders, consultants, and asset owners
Proven success in business development or technical sales within the security systems or related technology sectors
Familiarity with key platforms (e.g. Gallagher, Hanwha, Inner Range, Genetec, etc.)
A track record of managing full-cycle sales and project-based opportunities
A current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights
A current security licence (preferred but not essential)
