The Opportunity

We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communications Adviser to join our Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience) and Senior Vice-President. In this dynamic role, you’ll develop and deliver strategic communications that elevate the student experience and drive engagement across diverse audiences.

Working closely with the Senior Communications Adviser and collaborating with colleagues from across the Student Experience Portfolio and University Marketing, Admissions and Communications (UMAC) division, you’ll develop, implement and evaluate strategic communications for the portfolio, ensuring alignment to the Student Experience Plan and, more broadly, Impact 2030. From crafting compelling content to coordinating multi-channel campaigns, you’ll help shape how students connect, belong and thrive at Monash.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing communications strategies that support student experience initiatives and strategic priorities;

Creating engaging content for emails, social media, newsletters, briefings and presentations;

Coordinating communications activities using Asana and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams;

Providing expert advice on communications approaches tailored to student audiences;

Monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement across channels; and

Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the University.
