The team at McQueen’s would love to reach out and welcome a new member to our kitchen!

We are dedicated to serving the community of Woodend and Macedon Ranges authentic neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza (with the odd cheeky glass of wine or two). You will get to work alongside a neapolitan-trained pizza chef who will teach you the art of making authentic Italian pizza.

This is not your average pizza shop.. Along the way, you will learn to manage dough, prepare ingredients and most importantly the assembly and baking of pizzas in a large wood and gas hybrid oven.

This job would be perfect for a junior chef/ cook who is starting in the industry and wants to find their feet while picking up a few new skills.

Job Requirements:

● Must be free and able to work most weekends.

● Willing to take orders and learn from the Head Chef while learning an exciting new form

of Cookery.

● Responsible and mature enough to manage a team if the chef is away.

● Flexible with work hours (we work around the demand)

● Qualification in Commercial Cookery is preferred but not essential.

● A good and friendly personality to fit in with the rest of the amazing team!
