Stage School Australia is looking for both emerging and experienced teaching staff to join its team!

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from suitable applicants to accept Dance teaching shifts in various locations across Brisbane in particular our Wynnum (Friday) and The Gap (Thursday) locations. Whether you are a graduate student looking to begin your teaching career or an accomplished tutor, we want to hear from you! Join our team of specialists to deliver high energy, fun, repertoire-based group classes.

DYNAMIC PERFORMING ARTS COMPANY - Stage School Australia is one of Australia’s largest performing arts organisations, specialising in providing training for young people aged 4 to 18 years. With 40 years of legacy, 30 venues across Melbourne and Brisbane, over 5,800 students, and a faculty of 200+, Stage School Australia is the industry leader in its field.

We hire dancing teachers/directors to work with our students, in structured training programmes. Curriculum and repertoire is provided. Rehearsals are conducted during Government School terms and outside school hours.

Classes are generally run between 4.00pm and 9.30pm weeknights and 9.00am to 5.00pm Saturday at various locations around Brisbane and surrounding suburbs.

The successful applicants will have:

* tertiary dance/dancing training, or equivalent professional experience (ie. significant other dance training, performance experience, etc.)

* confident and proficient dance skills to teach

* excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude

* teaching experience, or natural aptitude

* a good rapport with children and young people

* a current Blue Card
