We have an incredibly passionate Director at the Centre who has developed a culture that is truly to be applauded. This role is special, as it aims to build on the already amazing work that Educators are doing. It is a role that requires leadership, mentoring, and direction, but if you have already held this position previously, it should be a walk in the park. However, we do stress the importance of the Educational Leader role at any of our Paisey Park Centres, as a privilege, to work hand in hand with amazing Educators who are in the field of Early Childhood because they want to be.

We value our Educators and support them in advancing their careers in many ways. This is part of our Professional Learning Framework, which is implemented through monthly workshops that cover various areas of interest, including the National Quality Standards.

We provide time ‘off the floor’ to reflect on documentation and planning, and we have established ourselves in the local community, enabling us to provide a custom-designed uniform, amazing resources, and inclusivity for all backgrounds, cultures, and languages.

The role requires knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, and the National Quality Standards. Applicants must also have a strong work ethic and be willing to adapt to our flexible program.

Successful candidates will hold a recognised Early Childhood qualification, such as a Diploma in Children’s Services OR a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). In addition, applicants must have:

A Working with Children Check

A Senior First Aid/ Anaphylaxis/ Asthma certificate

Child Protection Certification

An understanding of the Code of Conduct, Child Care Standards, Red Nose Guidelines, WHS Principles and Education and Care Regulations

Experience as a Lead Educator is highly advantageous
