Join an Ed-Tech start up as a Senior Full Stack Developer (slightly Front-End focused). Work with an established Tech team that is hiring as the business continues to bring on additional customers. You'll work on a variety of projects and get involved with coding and solution-design/architecture. The business offers a hybrid working style, requiring you to work out of their CBD office 2 days per week. The business is not dependant on funding, although is backed by VC's. The business is looking to expand it's customers on a global scale this year.

Responsibilities:

• Write code, perform solution design and solution architecture
• Performing code reviews with peer engineers
• Operate as a team player, as well as coaching and mentoring other engineers
• Make suggestions on how to improve the codebase and architecture
• Work with the support team to debug and fix production defects
• Occasionally engaging with customers by coming along to demos and customer success meetings
• Work collaboratively with product manager, designer and other engineers to deliver solutions that enhance our customers’ experience

Requirements:

• 7+ years experience as a Full-Stack or Front-End developer
• 4+ years experience with Front-End tech (this could be React, Angular or Vue)
• Minimum 2+ Node.JS (Express) experience
• Comfortable with AWS (or similar). Able to ship your own code
• Experience performing solution design from scratch
• Excellent communication skills
• You're happy to mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• You have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (and this extends to performance, data structures, algorithms and design patterns)
• The companies tech stack is: Node.Js, Angular, Typescript, AWS, Serverless Infrastructure
