The Role

We are looking for people aged 18 and over who are friendly, patient, and comfortable with everyday technology to assist seniors at our HomeCo Vincentia booth with basic tech skills. We have roles for regular Youngsters to assist people with technology, as well as Lead Youngsters who help set up and coordinate the sessions with our Community Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Attend our weekly learning sessions to assist seniors with tech-related queries and issues, such as smartphone, tablet, or computer troubleshooting.

Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms and demonstrate patience when teaching.

Foster a friendly, respectful, and supportive environment for both seniors and youngsters.

Contribute ideas and feedback to continually improve our sessions and outreach.

Ideal Candidate

Basic proficiency with smartphones (iOS/Android), tablets, and Windows computers

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work with diverse age groups and backgrounds.

Commitment to Youngster.Co's mission and values.

Regular Youngsters need to be a minimum of 18 years old and must possess a valid National Police Check
