Matthew Pearce OSHC is looking for permanent part time qualified Educators to join our team. We are a not for profit Parent Run Centre licensed to care for 180 children on the grounds of Matthew Pearce Public School. We offer Before & After School care as well as Vacation Care.

Based on the National Framework, our mission is to provide a high standard of quality care, allowing children to socialise and play with friends and to relax and have fun.

Licensed to care for 180 children in a brand new school hall as well as a new dedicated OOSH room. (No set up, pull down routine)

Before School Care Sessions: 7:00am - 9:00am, After School Care 2:30pm - 6:30pm, Vacation Care 7:00am - 6:30pm.

Close to public transport.

The Role.

Split shifts Before School Care 7:00am -9:00am and After School Care 2:30pm - 6:00/6:30pm. Vacation Care 6 hour shift (rostered morning or afternoon).

Minimum contracted hours 27.5 hours per week.

Annual Christmas closure.

About You

Relevant qualifications in childcare (Cert IV or Diploma), education, or a related field or greater than 12 months experience permanent part-time in the childcare industry.

A current Working with Children Check.

Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain before commencement)

Current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Certificate (HLTAID012).

Current Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk Certificate (CHCPRT025).

Current Anaphylaxis Management Training and Asthma Management Training (or willingness to obtain within probation period)

Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

Ability to work collaboratively as a member of our team and independently when needed.

Remuneration

We have applied and been approved to receive the Workers Retention Grant (10% above Award rate till 2nd December 2025, then 15% Above Award till December 2026).

The successful applicant will be paid in accordance with Children Services Award (2010) at a level consistent with their qualifications and/or experience plus the Workers Retention Grant.
