The Dinner Ladies is a home food delivery service, providing delicious frozen meals direct to your door. We create meals that taste like homemade (but maybe even better!), so you don’t have to. Our meals are snap-frozen and delivered to your home, ready for you to cook or reheat. We are looking for full-time Kitchen Porters to join our growing food production team across both AM and PM shifts.

About the role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen clean, safe, and running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting the team to ensure everything is ready for daily food production.

Key responsibilities include:
• Cleaning and sanitising dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness of floors, surfaces, and waste disposal areas
• Ensuring all items are organised and returned to storage after cleaning
• Operating, cleaning, and maintaining the dishwashing machine
• Assisting kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required
• Emptying bins, refilling consumables, and keeping work areas tidy
• Reporting any damaged or faulty equipment to the Kitchen Manager
• Supporting Senior Chefs and Managers with daily equipment needs

About you:
• Experience in a high-paced, large-scale kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and hygiene standards
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physically able to lift 10–20kg as required
• Professional, reliable, and adaptable attitude
• Valid work rights in Australia (permanent residents preferred, but not essential)

Role details:
• Full-time, permanent positions
• AM shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
• PM shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Immediate start available
