In this pivotal role, you will manage the growth and expansion of our client's presence in the commercial washroom solutions sector. As a dynamic and results driven Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional value to clients.

Duties:

  • Identify, research, and pursue new project and client opportunities.
  • Build pipelines through networking and relationship-building.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with builders, architects, and project managers.
  • Represent the company at industry events and project meetings.
  • Prepare tailored quotes, proposals, and submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and design teams for solutions.
  • Negotiate and close contracts aligning with targets and needs.
  • Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and activity reports.
  • Report on sales performance and market opportunities.
  • Utilize data insights to refine strategy and improve operations.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a BDM or senior sales role in commercial construction or manufacturing.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of NCC, and building standards preferred.
  • Strong network in Sydney's construction, architectural, or fit-out sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a knack for managing priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
