About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator & Customer Service Administrator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth supply chain operations, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting general office administration. You’ll be the key link between our Australian operations and our Manufacturing facility in New Zealand, ensuring stock, containers, and orders flow seamlessly through the system.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Coordination
· Run monthly MRP to ensure stock coverage for forecasted items.
· Manage and amend purchase orders, including updates for delays, pricing, or delivery dates.
· Liaise with our New Zealand team to monitor production and container scheduling.
· Track and update container shipments, including reporting and using tracking systems.
· Organize air freight and local transportation when required.
· Oversee and coordinate 3PL providers across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
· Organize quarterly stocktakes and annual physical counts.
· Authorize and process supplier invoices for payment.
· Manage product lifecycle by retiring obsolete item numbers.
· Support new projects by setting up system orders and coordinating with the factory on lead times.
· Coordinate rework and slitting jobs with external partners.
Customer Service
· Act as the primary point of contact for some key customers
· Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
· Provide exceptional service and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Administration
· Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports for management.
· Manage general office administration: supplies, postage, courier bookings, and office services.
· Support day-to-day business operations with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
About You
· Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
· Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or customer service roles
· Customer service mindset with strong communication skills.
· Proficient in working with ERP/MRP systems and reporting tools.
· Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
· Proactive problem solver who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
· Be willing to do things better, work as a team, and strive to get the detail right
