We are seeking a Draftsman with strong AutoCAD (or similar CAD software) skills to join our growing team, specialising in granny flats and small residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience preparing plans for council/CDC approval, and the ability to turn client concepts into clear, accurate working drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed concept and working drawings for granny flats and small residential builds.

Use CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) to produce accurate and compliant designs.

Work closely with clients, builders, and consultants to refine designs.

Ensure drawings comply with local council and regulatory requirements.

Assist with documentation for approvals, variations, and project changes.

Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD drafting program).

Experience in residential drafting, ideally granny flats or small builds.

Understanding of BCA/NCC and Australian standards.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
