About the role

Renewaworks Pty Ltd, a leading provider of air conditioning and refrigeration services, is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in South Eastern Suburbs, Victoria. This full-time role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, ensuring our clients receive reliable and efficient climate control solutions.

What you'll be doing

Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of commercial and residential HVAC systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment

Implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of HVAC systems

Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to service requests and communicating effectively with clients

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations

Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Refrigeration Mechanics or a relevant trade

Minimum 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems

Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex issues

Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and a commitment to workplace health and safety
