About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced OOSH Service Coordinator to lead our team at Children First – Hassall Grove, a vibrant 60-place service. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, mentor a fantastic group of permanent educators, and bring your leadership to life in an environment that values consistency, collaboration, and quality.

Your Week at a Glance:

Before School Care: 7:00am – 10:00am (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

After School Care: 1:30pm – 6:30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

Block Shift: 10:30am – 6:30pm (Wednesday)

This is a role where you can focus on delivering quality programming, building meaningful relationships, and leading a positive service culture — all supported by a solid, consistent team.

Who You Are

You’re a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and truly believes in the power of play. You’re calm under pressure, committed to continuous improvement, and lead with empathy and purpose.

You’ll Need:

An approved qualification in Early Childhood or School-Aged Education

At least 1 year as a Nominated Supervisor or 4+ years in a leadership role

Experience supporting children with additional needs and guiding positive behaviour

Strong knowledge of the NQF, CCS, Family Assistance Law, and Child Safe Standards

The following certifications:

HLTAID012 – First Aid in an Education and Care setting

HLTAID009 – CPR

CHCPRT025 – Child Protection

Paid NSW Working With Children Check

Salary Packaging – Up to $15,900 tax-free, plus $2,650 for meals and entertainment

Subsidised Childcare – $10/day for long day care, $3/day for OOSH, $10/day for vacation care

Free CPR and First Aid Training – Valued at $500
