About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice in Kew East, Victoria. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a full-time position within our dental practice, but we are Flexible with working hours/days.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during all clinical procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow

Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment

Greeting and welcoming patients, and providing exceptional customer service

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic databases

preferably experienced in dental reception duties.

Carrying out basic laboratory tasks, such as taking impressions and creating models

Promoting a positive and professional environment for both patients and colleagues

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a general dentistry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to put patients at ease

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail

Proficiency in using dental software we have Dentally cloud base software.

A team-oriented approach and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care

A current Dental Assisting qualification or equivalent
