We’re on the hunt for a switched-on Assistant Development Manager to join a dynamic, privately-owned development and construction business based in Southport.

You will work closely with a highly motivated Development Manager who drives projects forward with speed, efficiency, and confidence. We’re seeking someone with the same proactive mindset, a self-starter who can hit the ground running, take ownership of their responsibilities, and deliver results. While independence is key, you’ll have comprehensive support and guidance to help you thrive and grow in the role.

This role offers valuable exposure across the entire development lifecycle, with a strong focus on commercial and industrial projects valued up to $30M+.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in commercial construction or property development

Understanding of design management, DA/BA processes, land acquisition, titles, and settlements

Confidence in dealing with councils, consultants, and contractors

Strong attention to detail, initiative, and eagerness to learn and grow

A proactive, fast-working mindset aligned with the Development Manager’s approach

You’ll receive hands-on mentorship across all stages of the development process – from early-stage feasibility and land sourcing through to design coordination, approvals, and project delivery.
