Organisational Development Change Manager

Hybrid, currently only 1 – 2 days a week in the office (7 Harvest Street, Macquarie Park). Mondays in the office at Macquarie Park and flexible based on the needs of the program to attend other days in the office at city-based offices and Mac Park predominately. This may change depending on Government and Transport directives.
Reports into Senior Manager People Transformation and Change
Paying $1,000 to $1,100 per day, plus super (upto $1,120 to $1,232 per day, plus GST if an ABN).
Start ASAP (it needs to be filled quickly to support Operating Model implementation program).
Initially 9 months; possible extension.
Hours of work: 8 max hours per day, 40 hours per week (no overtime will be paid – 6 hours or less will be paid as a half-day).

Key Challenges - Having to pivot approach based on evolving program so important to be agile and able to change direction at short notice.
No direct reports
Main Stakeholders - Executive Directors, People Directors, Business Managers
Current team structure - 5 Change Managers supporting the same program of work. Other team members working on other elements of the program on org design and consultation feedback.
Supporting the delivery of the Operating Model implementation program, including but not limited to:
Assess impacts of changes on scope, resources and operational dates and test scenarios in order to source solutions.
Provide reporting on program and project key result areas to monitor actual progress, compare to baseline and to report progress against schedules.
Work directly with the Director, People on the implementation. Coordinate change activities with the Business Manager and Branch Head / Executive Director (ED).
Assess change impact, risks throughout the program. Review and adjust individual branch plans to support the management of the impacts and risks.
Support and/or lead change activities as agreed to with the Director, People which may include facilitation of workshops and team sessions.
Provide implementation support to the Branch Head / ED throughout the program.
Required skills & experience:
8 years+ experience as an Organisational Development Change Manager; in-depth experience in People Change / Organisational Development.
Change management in large scale organisational transformation projects, delivering Organisational Development/Effectiveness projects and/or Strategic P&C Business Partnering, engaging with executive stakeholders, facilitation skills.
Demonstrated skill and experience in a change management role in a large, diverse and complex organisation.
Knowledge of and experience with current change management practices and tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Stakeholder Management skills and experience. Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels upto Executives and Directors.
Knowledge of governance and compliance processes.
Previous Public Sector experience is highly advantageous.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Relevant Certification is expected, but not essential.
