Petersham Activities Centre for Children (PACC) is looking for an enthusiastic Educator to join the team. PACC has grown quickly and requires motivated, friendly and experienced educators.

PACC is a community run, not-for-profit, Outside Of School Hours (OOSH) service in Sydney’s Inner West. At PACC we prefer to reinvest any profits back into the Centre, by providing engaging resources and experiences for the children and rewarding educators with above award wages, pay reviews and bonus structure. PACC provides before school, after school and vacation care services on the grounds of Petersham Public School. We are licensed for 135 school aged children between the ages of 5 - 12yrs of Age.

TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION YOU WILL NEED TO ABLE TO WORK TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY AFTERNOONS AS A MINIMUM

A successful candidate will:

Provide a fun, safe and supportive environment for primary school aged children

Supervise children during a Before/After School care session

Set up an engaging environment to inspire children's growth and development

Some light cleaning, food preparation and clean up may be required

Some administrative duties related to the everyday operations of the Centre and compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF)

Our service Hours are :

BSC 7am - 9am (Shifts are allocated between 7am and 9:30am)

ASC 3pm - 6pm (Shifts are allocated between 2:30pm and 6pm)

VAC 7am -6pm (Shifts are allocated between 7am and 6pm)

Essential qualifications required:

Current NSW Working with Child Check

Good communication skills

Work independently and in a team

Desirable qualifications required:

Accredited child protection and first aid training

Working knowledge of the NQF, especially the MYTOP Learning Framework

Experience working in an OOSH service, including program planning and development
