About the role
Temporary full time, commencing ASAP until 31 December 2025.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Evolve Therapeutic Services will deliver high level clinical mental health services in the areas of assessment, intervention, treatment planning and evaluation to children and youth people in the care of the Department of Communities Child Safety Services with extreme and complex therapeutic and behaviour support needs and to improve outcomes for children and young people who have mental health support needs, through enhancing the ability and capacity of existing services and stakeholders within the community.
Requirements
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
- A post graduate qualification or currently enrolled in a post graduate program in a relevant area of study is highly desirable.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
