About the role

Join the team at Soul Imaging as a Sonographer in our South Morang, Victoria location. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the provision of high-quality medical imaging services within a growing healthcare organisation. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and monitoring patient conditions through the use of ultrasound technology.

What you'll be doing

Performing a variety of ultrasound examinations for patients, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and other specialty scans

Capturing and interpreting high-quality ultrasound images to support accurate diagnoses

Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns

Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date

Collaborating with the wider medical team to provide seamless, patient-centred care

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and quality assurance protocols

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Sonography or a related field

2+ years of experience as a Sonographer in a clinical setting

Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret scan results accurately

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the medical team

Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety

Registration with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
