About the Opportunity
St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne invites you to become a Clinical Haematology Fellow for 2026. Our Haematology unit provides comprehensive services for both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions, with a strong focus on clinical research. We offer a robust infrastructure supporting Phase I first-in-human to Phase III clinical trials, offering comprehensive specialist training in all aspects of clinical research including protocol development, regulatory procedures, clinical trial conduct, and investigator-initiated studies.

Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in early-phase clinical trials.
- Experience teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Strong commitment to teaching in a clinical setting.
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize workload, delegate responsibilities, and supervise staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a capability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently.

Your Contribution
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent Medical degree with Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent Medical degree with Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
- Completion or current undertaking of higher specialist training in Haematology.
- Medical degree with Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
- Fellowship/ Membership of appropriate Specialist College [RACP or equivalent]
- Specialist Registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria
- Competency in prescribing chemotherapy.
- Experience in haematology.
- Clinical audit experience.

About the Clinical Haematology Department
At St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, the department of Clinical Haematology provides comprehensive services to in-patients, day patients, outpatients and satellite clinics, through diagnosis and management of a wide range of benign and malignant haematological conditions.
