About the role

We are seeking an experienced all-rounder Dental Nurse (Dental Assistant) to join our dynamic team at Extreme Dentistry in Coconut Grove, NT 0810. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within our organisation. Previous experience in dentistry is essential to this role. Pay rate is negotiable, depending on your qualification and experience.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the dentist during procedures by preparing equipment, handing instruments, and providing patient care and comfort

Performing front desk duties such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling payment processing

Maintaining sterilisation and infection control protocols

Ensuring the dental operatory is clean, organised, and well-stocked

Providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns

Updating and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or Dental Assistant is essential to this role, preferably in a fast-paced dental practice

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and other team members in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in using dental software and office equipment

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care

Certificate III or diploma in Dental Assisting or a related healthcare field is preferred
